The six week "Quit Smoking Now" program is for anyone interested in becoming tobacco-free. The program offers group counseling sessions by trained tobacco cessation specialists. The goal is to educate smokers and provide them with the necessary tools to live a normal life without cigarettes. Participants will be educated on addiction, the quit options available, how drug treatments work and what might work for them, coping techniques and numerous other topics that will ultimately help smokers not just quit, but be successful. Participants will also receive 8 weeks of FREE Nicotine Replacement Therapy.

qUITLINE - 1-877-U-CAN-NOWThe Quitline is a helping hand when you need it the most. The Florida Quitline was established to assist any person living in Florida over the age of 11 with a desire to free themselves from cigarettes, smokeless and all other forms of tobacco. The Quitline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and offers the following services FREE of charge:

  • 5 Counseling sessions
  • Self help materials
  • Counseling and materials in English and Spanish
  • Translation service for other languages
  • Nicotine Replacement Therapy
  • TDD service for hearing impaired


Since 2001, the Quitline has helped over 7,400 people quit smoking, and by doing so they have improved their health, reduced their risk of premature death, and decreased the chances their friends or family will suffer or grieve due to illness or death from smoking.
