Florida Department of Emergency Management opened a Monoclonal Antibody Infusion Treatment Center at the Havert L. Fenn Center, 2000 Virginia Ave., Fort Pierce on Monday, August 23, 2021. The location will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and is able to serve more than 300 patients per day. This state-run monoclonal antibody therapy treatment site for patients diagnosed with COVID-19 or considered high risk if infected. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged and can be made at



DOH-St. Lucie is immunizing individuals 12 years or older seeking 1st, 2nd, or 3rd* dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, at our 5150 NW Milner Drive, Port St. Lucie office, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and between 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary.


Pfizer is the only COVID-19 vaccine authorized for persons age 12 and up. All individuals under the age of 18 receiving a vaccine must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and complete the COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent form. Individuals that have completed a 2-dose series of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine seeking a 3rd* dose will need to make an appointment by calling 772-462-3800 and pressing “1” twice in the menu options.


Currently, CDC is recommending that moderately to severely immunocompromised people receive an additional dose. You should talk to your healthcare provider about your medical condition, and whether getting an additional dose is appropriate for you.


Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie County in collaboration with Allied Health and St. Lucie Board of County Commissioners opened a new walk-up COVID-19 testing site on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 9 a.m. at the Gwenda Thompson Trades Career Center on 3855 S. US Hwy 1, Fort Pierce, Florida 34982. The testing site will operate 7 days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. No appointment necessary. Testing is free. For persons with health insurance, Allied Health will bill the insurance company and will not charge a co-pay. COVID-19 vaccine will also be offered for all eligible persons.
