Concerns have been brought to the attention of the Department of Health in St. Lucie (DOH-St. Lucie) regarding glioblastoma patients.

While we have no evidence of the source of any disease cluster, we also understand the strong concerns in the community.

At this time, we are working with state officials who are reviewing the Florida Cancer Data System and completing a data review of the past 20 years to provide historical background of the cancer occurrence and pattern of this specific cancer sub-type. Based on these initial steps, DOH-St. Lucie will work with the State Office to determine the best path forward.
