The Division of Environmental Public Health performs hazardous waste screenings for businesses obtaining their local business tax receipt from the Tax Collector Office of St. Lucie County.
The Hazardous Waste Screening Form is NOT an inspection and is only required when opening a new business or new location within St. Lucie County. The form’s purpose is to determine if permitting from the Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie County is necessary based on the business activities and utilities provided at the business address.
Residential-based businesses that operate as a home office ONLY are not required to complete this form.
