Fort Pierce Inlet State Park – River tests below unsafe level

St. Lucie County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie County (DOH-St. Lucie) is lifting the advisory for high bacterial levels the following location:

Fort Pierce Inlet State Park – River location (Kayak Launch Area)
905 Shorewinds Drive
Fort Pierce, FL 34949

Tests completed on Monday, June 1, 2026, indicate that the water quality at Fort Pierce Inlet State Park – River location (kayak launch area) shows an acceptable level of Enterococcus bacteria established by state guidelines. Test results are available at DOH-St. Lucie website.
